Fed up With America? Me Too...

Dear Reader,

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve been getting the sense recently that the very fabric that holds America together is breaking down. Coming from me, I think that says a lot...

By no means have I ever been a doom and gloom kind of pundit. My outlook on the stock market has always been that of a permabull. For the last seven years, I have been telling investors to buy tech stocks hand over fist, and we’ve made out spectacularly well in the process.

I’ve never pushed ideas centered around fear or panic. I’ve never told anyone to hunker down and buy tons of gold, either. I’ve found success as an investor by leveraging and trusting in the accelerating rate of technological progress. Some have gone as far as to call me a serial optimist in this regard.

As a U.S. citizen watching what’s happening around my country at this moment, admittedly, my broader optimism is waning. No longer can I shake the feeling that this once powerful and united nation is fracturing, the consequences of which I believe could extend well beyond Wall Street.

Now, it’s not my intention to get too political here, so I’m not going to spend any time ranting about whose fault I think this is or how we got here. All I’m going to say is that something is very clearly wrong with the United States, and it has genuinely begun to worry me.

Maybe it worries some of you too, or maybe I'm getting worked up over nothing...

In any case, this feeling of mine has grown pervasive enough over the last few months that I’ve begun to seriously consider the possibility of moving somewhere abroad for retirement. I won’t be making a knee-jerk reaction and hopping on a plane tomorrow, but I have begun formulating a plan in the event that I want to escape the growing chaos in America.

Luckily for me, I’m still young enough that this kind of decision is no big rush. I still have plenty of time to figure out where I want to retire, whether it be in the U.S. or abroad. I understand not everyone has that luxury, though, which is part of the reason why I’m writing to you today.

With America’s civil fabric in seemingly obvious decline, I’m wondering if any of you have had the same thoughts as I have.

Are you worried about the future of America?

Would you consider retiring in another country?

And if you wanted to, would you even know how to do it?

Here at Wealth Daily, our mission is to provide our readers with top-tier actionable information, not just on the stock market, but on everything involving your financial well-being. With that being said, we are considering launching a new private investment service for inspiring expats and people considering retiring abroad.

My gut tells me there may be great interest in this topic, but the only way I can know for sure is to ask. So please, take a few minutes to fill out this quick five-question survey so we can best serve you, our dedicated readers. By doing so, you’ll be the first on our list of invitees if we end up launching.

Turning progress to profits,
