A Must-Read for Pro-Lifers

wodAccording to legal documents, a Wichita County woman was denied access to reasonable medical care while in jail.

If that which is reported in the documents is true, the plaintiff, Nicole Guerrero was busted for drug possession and placed in solitary. Problem is, while she was 8 ½ weeks pregnant, showing obvious signs of labor and made constant requests for medical assistance, she was left to fend for herself, by herself, in a cell.

The next morning, a detention officer saw her delivering the baby and attempted to help. But the baby was dead.

Now I don’t know what kind of drugs were found on Guerrero, but if you’ve ever needed a reason to oppose the war on drugs, this should be it. How in the world can we sit by and allow something so horrific to happen due to a war on personal choice and incompetent law enforcement?

Every Gadsden flag-waving individual and every single pro-lifer should be up in arms about this.

Whether or not you think it was appropriate for this woman to be carrying drugs while pregnant is not the issue. The issue at hand is liberty. Something Guerrero’s baby never had the opportunity to enjoy, and something Guerrero herself was denied because of a tyrannical war on drugs.
