The Best Investment You Can Make Right Now
The stock market has changed a lot in the last 20 years. And not always for the better, either. For one, there aren't as many public companies anymore. And that means you and I simply don't have as much opportunity to grow our investment dollars...
When I started in this biz in 1998, there were about 8,000 public companies with stock trading on the NYSE, Nasdaq, and the now-defunct AMEX. Today that number is around 4,000.
It blows my mind to think that today's investors — you and me — have half the opportunities to find winning investments that we did just two decades ago.
Not only that, but on average, today's companies are 50% bigger than they were 20 years ago. These days, companies don't go public as quickly as they used to. That's a huge problem for us because big, mature companies simply don't grow as fast as smaller, dynamic companies.
Finding a stock that will double your money today is very, very difficult.
Hard Times for Investors
It was really different back in '98. The internet was just becoming a "thing," and those first internet companies had incredible potential. And I don't mean the crappy internet stocks like eToys. I mean companies like Cisco and Amazon.
The IPO market was white-hot back then, too. Stocks would jump 40%, 50%, sometimes 100% and more than that right out of the gate.
The closest thing we've seen to that in the last few years is that crazy run for the fake meat company Beyond Meat. Nice gain for sure, but it doesn't really compare to making a fortune with a truly life-changing tech or biotech company, does it?
I still follow the IPO market because every once in a while a real gem will come out. But most of what Wall Street calls gems these days are overpriced software companies. These companies come out valued at $20 billion on day one, and they're already priced for six years of double-digit growth...
That's why it's just about a guarantee that a company that goes public today will be lower in price in six months. IPOs aren't about companies getting operating capital anymore. Today's IPOs are just the venture capital investors taking their profits by selling the stock to you and me...
It stinks if you think about it.
So I've watched some of my colleagues start investing in private placements. A private placement is when a private company sells its stock to individual investors before it goes public.

The Best Way to Grow Your Wealth
Now, I'll tell you: When my colleagues started getting in on these private deals, I was very skeptical. Private companies aren't regulated the same way stocks are. I really thought some of my good friends were gonna get shafted. But you know what? It hasn't happened. Dozens of these private placement deals have gone down in the last couple years, and I am not aware of one single scam.
Quite the opposite, actually: They're doing great!
And I'll let you in on a little secret: We in the newsletter biz are about the best place to find big private placement winners that can double and triple your money. It's because we speak to a LOT of individual investors like you. The very best private companies come to us for funding. And so we get to offer you top-notch investment opportunities...
For me, I've seen enough. I've got plans tomorrow at 1 p.m. (ET). Because that's when Alex Koyfman unveils his private placement pipeline in a special internet summit.
I've worked with Alex for nearly 10 years. We've traveled together, spoken at conferences together, gotten drunk together... we even almost got in a fistfight once.
I know Alex like a brother, and if he tells me he's got some truly great stuff lined up, yeah, I'm there. (In fact, I tried to get him to give me some details in advance, but he wouldn't do it. He's saving it for you.)
And I will be there. Tomorrow — that's Thursday, October 24, at 1 p.m. — Alex is hosting his Private Profits Summit. It's free to attend this online video event. Just click this link and enter your email in the box, and you're good to go.
The time you spend with Alex tomorrow might well be the best investment you can make right now. Click here.
