Could the Bilderberg Group Destroy Donald Trump?

bdbThe Bilderberg group has finished up its secret meeting in Dresden, Germany where over 100 of the richest and most powerful people from Europe and North America got together. This is truly an elitist group, where political and business leaders make it evident that they are highly connected.

The Bilderberg group has been around for over 60 years. But it is no secret that this secret society exists. More people know about the Bilderberg group now than in any time in its history. We can thank the Internet and technology in general for helping to spread the word.

The group now publishes a guest list, but we still don’t know for sure who and how many make it to the annual meeting who are not on the official guest list.

When these meetings take place, the location is on lockdown. It is a big wall of security surrounding the venue, which is typically a very posh hotel.

No reporters are allowed to go in and the participants are sworn to the Chatham House Rule, meaning that they can make use of information that is obtained, but not reveal who made any comment.

The group did put out a general agenda about global issues, but we know that things go quite a bit deeper in the discussions.

My guess is that the first thing on the agenda was how to stop Donald Trump. With the rise of Trump (and also Sanders to a certain degree), we hear the term “establishment” used more. Trump and Sanders attracted many people who are anti-establishment.

It is very hard to define the term, but the Bilderberg group is about as close a definition as we can find in terms of actual individuals who make up the establishment. Maybe the Council on Foreign Relations could compete in this category.

The establishment, which likely includes most or all of the Bilderberg group, does not like Donald Trump. Trump is a nationalist and not a globalist. In addition, Trump apparently cannot be easily bought, and thus cannot be easily controlled. And to this group, it really is all about control.

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was on the guest list. He is a man who thinks that another war is the solution to every problem. If someone disagrees, then just bomb him. Graham is a major opponent to Trump. He is probably secretly voting for Hillary Clinton.

Who Holds the Power?

While these are mostly multi-millionaires, or even billionaires, who are meeting, money is just one aspect of the picture. It is really about power and control. These individuals want to control society to the degree that they can.

In many ways, these elitists have controlled society to a large degree. They can often set the agenda. As the saying goes, if you have people asking the wrong question, you don’t have to worry about the answer.

So while many of these people will talk about helping the poor and all of that, they are beneficiaries of a system that mixes the voluntary free market and cronyism.

For the business owners, they have to be doing something right. They haven’t all made their fortunes just from simply lobbying government and having friends in high places. They have to be meeting consumer demand, as there is still some competition.

In that sense, we shouldn’t worry too much about people getting rich. In a free market, people get rich by serving others. Unfortunately, we don’t live in a completely free market and the cronyism is used to stifle competition.

While this is a powerful group, we should not delude ourselves that they run the world. Or if they do run the world, it is our own fault for allowing it to happen.

How can a group of 130 people possibly control 7 billion people on the planet? Even if there are 10,000 people in this inner circle, even with the vast amounts of wealth, there is no way they can control billions of people. They can only control us to the degree that we consent to it.

In terms of the businessmen, you simply don’t have to do business with anyone that you don’t want to do business with. The only exception to this rule is the government. You can’t ignore the state and all of its taxes and rules.

As for these powerful politicians, they certainly are a threat, but only because the masses allow it to happen. If people stopped consenting to big government, then big government would stop. If a majority of people favored decentralization and liberty, then the power would be almost instantly removed from these people.

A small fraction of people can only rule over the masses if the masses grant their consent to be ruled over.

So yes, the Bilderberg group is a powerful group of individuals. But it is only because we, as a society, permit it to happen.
