Government Privacy and Rights Intrusion
Unconstitutional Spying, Police Brutality, and Disappearing Freedoms
Around this time two years ago, I offered up 12 reasons to riot.
They ranged from a systematic invasion of your privacy to free reign for the banking cartel to a do-nothing Congress that lets corporate lobbyists write laws in their favor and not yours...
All those problems still exist. Even more have emerged. And the symptoms of them are apparent every day.
Mixed up in the daily stream of irrelevant news flow, they are often overlooked and forgotten.
But it's important you connect the dots to ensure your continued safety, liberty, and financial well-being.
Here's a new list of reasons you need to take the management of all those things into your own hands — complete with real-life examples of how they affect people like you and me...
Reasons to Riot
#1 Police State
Police in this country have become increasingly militarized and violent. They're the enforcement arm of an increasingly corrupt government and greedy officials. And their tasers, guns, and billy clubs are always directed at average citizens — not at the politicians and banking heads who commit the most far-reaching atrocities and thefts.
Many of their thuggish acts are meant to scare the general population into not exercising their rights.
Virginia: FBI arrests former Marine Brandon Raub for criticizing the government on Facebook. He is not read his rights, questioned, and committed to a mental institution. Multiple cases like this have surfaced, all relating to public critiques of the government.
Pennsylvania: 79-year-old Korean War veteran John Ramsey is arrested and jailed for not removing junk from his own property. For years he has collected and resold items to pay for his wife's medications. But in this new age, the government can tell you what to do with your own property... and will send its enforcers to incarcerate you if you don't comply.
California: 60-year-old Karen Wright is forced to the ground and handcuffed by two officers at a city council meeting for going over her allotted three-minute speaking time. She was speaking out against a corporate waste contract in our democratic fashion. Several witnesses reported she screamed in pain as the officers hoisted her off the ground by her wrists and led her out of the meeting. Message: You speak out against The Establishment, you're gonna get roughed up.
With weekly instances like these, you're being conditioned to bow down, not speak out, and do what you're told... all by fellow citizens with a badge.
It's like the Stanford Prison Experiment on a national level.
And it's not about violent crime or the protection of other citizens. This is about controlling behavior and forcing you to submit without question to whatever The Establishment wants to deal out.
#2 Eroding Liberty
And it isn't just police actions...
States, cities, towns, and counties across the country are now routinely infringing on rights and everyday activities Americans have taken for granted for generations. It's less direct than tasing senior citizens, but it's part of the systematic approach to homogenize the population, center control in corporations and government, and end your way of life.
Texas: Students at John Jay High School and Anson Jones Middle School are being required to wear microchip-embedded radio frequency identification (RFID) cards that track their location. Students who object are being denied access to cafeterias and libraries and barred from participating in school functions.
Florida: Jason Helvingston is fighting City Hall to keep his garden. Orlando “officials” (“officials” are just other people, folks) told him to dig up his 25 ft. x 25 ft. micro-irrigated garden because it violated city code. Neighbors have said they love the garden and Jason isn't backing down, saying: “You'll take my house before you take my vegetable garden. This is another example of the government telling us what we can do with our own property — that should never happen.”
Supreme Court: The highest court in the land will soon decide whether police can draw blood from citizens without a warrant. Your Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable search and seizure could soon disappear.
In by inch, they're creeping in... First, it's a recommendation. Then it's a code. Then it's the law.
All of a sudden, something you've been doing for years is illegal — and if you don't obey the new laws, you'll meet one of those nice police officers. They're shutting down kids' lemonade stands, for crying out loud... while banksters continue to steal billions or trillions of our collective wealth.
Of course, if your liberty is heading down a slippery slope, your privacy is already rolling downhill...
Ever since the post-9/11 Patriot Act, you've been eavesdropped and spied on. But now we're learning more about how widespread it is, and how far the government will go to do it.
Homeland Security: A Senate subcommittee report has found that a decade-long multi-billion-dollar program improperly collected information on innocent Americans (that's you!) with covert “fusion centers” in every state. The report also concluded the program produced “no reporting which uncovered a terrorist threat, nor could it identify a contribution such fusion center reporting made to disrupt an active terrorist plot.” But it did find those fusion centers collected information about citizens that infringed on civil liberties, including spying on Ron Paul supporters, abortion activists, war protesters, and gun rights advocates — even though it is ILLEGAL for the government to store free speech information that is not related to crimes. It's the government that's criminal.
Wisconsin: Chief U.S. District Court Judge William Griesbach has ruled police are allowed to install hidden surveillance cameras on private property without obtaining a search warrant. His decision was based on a previous ruling that “upheld the use of technology as a substitute for ordinary police surveillance.” Welcome to surveillance society.
Drones: The Feds and police agencies across the country are adopting drones for domestic surveillance. The federal government is streamlining their use, even though the Congressional Research Service found “drone use inside the United States raises far-reaching issues concerning the extent of government surveillance authority.” Though there is not yet regulatory guidance, police “in some cases already possess the capability to see through walls or track an individual’s movements from the sky.” 30,000 of them will soon be over your head.
Each of these topics and examples reeks of government intrusion, lifestyle bullying, and State/corporate (The Establishment) control that affects us all. It has far-reaching complications.
When I was a child, I was taught to run up to the friendly police officer and pull on his pant stripe if I ever needed help.
The kid who does that today gets charged with assaulting a police officer.
It's a shame, a sad symptom of a system that separates the “lawmakers,” “officials,” and “chairmen,” from the rest of the people by weighing the populace down with draconian gardening laws and extreme surveillance while they only get richer destroying what once was great.
It's a power grab. It's a money grab.
Wake up. The defense contractor pays the defense lobbyist who pays the Congressmen who approve 30,000 domestic drones. The big agriculture company pays the lobbyist who pays the local city council to make small gardens illegal. They all get paid but you...
You lose your rights.
And this is not even the half of it. Next week I'll give you three more reasons you need to secure your family and your way of life through any and all means possible. We'll cover how “right” and “left” is a ruse to keep you suppressed; how banksters continue to have free reign of anything they want; and how The Establishment wants to take away your decision-making free will.
To keep you continually informed of these activities and help you prepare and avoid them, Wealth Daily will dedicate one day per week to new column called Freedom Watch.
And as always, we'll continue to bring expert advice on attaining individual liberty and financial freedom through value and income investments, self-reliance strategies and, of course, precious metals — which are currently being heavily manipulated by the international banking cartel and could be completely revalued in the next two months. More on that here.
