Adam takes a fundamental approach to investing, but recognizes that sometimes fundamentals mean nothing. Today it's more important than ever to factor in things like government interference in the market, automated trading programs, and the effects of loose money.
A former Financial Adviser, he left when it became clear that the job was all sales. Making cold calls was more important than making a great pick. As an analyst at Wealth Daily, Adam gets to put his investment research and analysis skills to work. Adam scours the web looking for opportunities.
Over the past 5 years, Precious metals have been Adam's favorite investment themes. As the world continues to lose faith in fiat currencies, they remain a viable play. He knows that eventually the time to sell metals will come, but doesn't think we're there yet.
Emerging markets are another area of interest. He recommended Chinese stocks in April of '09, and they nearly doubled in 6 months.
Adam also specializes in finding domestic small caps that are under-covered by analysts. He uses various stock screening tools to parse through thousands of listings on a regular basis.
Check out his column in Wealth Daily every other Monday. He also contributes regularly to Wealth Daily's blogs.
