Pelosi on Bush

"The Bush plan is a hoax," she says.

We came across this. Thought you'd find it of interest.

It's Nancy Pelosi on President Bush's announcement that he was lifting the executive ban on drilling in protected coastal areas.

Enjoy.

"Once again, the oilman in the White House is echoing the demands of Big Oil."

"The Bush plan is a hoax. It will neither reduce gas prices nor increase energy independence. It just gives millions more acres to the same companies that are sitting on nearly 68 million acres of public lands and coastal areas."

"If the President wants to bring down prices in the next two weeks, not the next two decades, he should free our oil by releasing a small portion of the more than 700 million barrels of oil we have put in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve."

"It's time to tell the oil industry: 'You already have millions of acres to drill. Use it or lose it.'"

Why play game with our own oil let the Dem. get on board an let drill for oil. We can always use it. We have set here for 35 years and done nothing it is time to drill or vote the people out of office that wont let us drill. Oil co. have paid for the leases that they are not drilling on.

Bush is an incompetent and intellectually challenged leader; he has made a mess of every institution of our government and our relations to nations around the world.

There already are millions of acres under lease and in production of oil and gas. His energy plan and his tax plan will only fuel the disparity between the super wealthy and the rest of our fellow citizens. Bush has been the dream boy of the Saudi Kingdom, and the poster child of oil and gas companies. For 8 years of his administration there has been no oil shortage but a plan to raise prices to extreme levels to transition of our national wealth to multi-national oil companies as well as foreign countries primarily the OPEC group and China.

If you want to free America from foreign oil, develop and implement a strategy to support alternate energy, to let Americans heat and have their energy generated from their roofs with Solar and Wind Energy; to drive their cars with home grown biofuels made from Algae or some other crap that we grow in our backyards; and to mandate conservation in every form from public to private consumption.

In short, Bush has failed America. He came to office criticizing the Clinton administration. But compare folks the value of our currency, our national standing in the world and our quality of life then as to now.

What a tragedy has befallen our nation from this horrible leadership.
